PBTerms of sale

Terms

These terms cover trying and buying PrintBus, the Mac app, from printbus.app. They’re short and in plain English. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer law that applies to you.

1. Who we are

PrintBus is made by Dan Murtagh (ABN 48 815 594 360), a mix engineer and audio educator in Melbourne, Australia (“we”). Email [email protected] about anything here.

2. Who sells it to you

Payments go through Stripe. If your receipt comes from Link, Stripe’s checkout service, and your card statement shows LINK.COM, Stripe sells PrintBus to you as the merchant of record: it charges you, handles any sales tax, VAT or GST, and its own terms cover the payment. Either way, your PrintBus licence comes from us, and we look after refunds and support.

3. The free trial

4. Price

PrintBus is US$39, paid once, plus any tax shown at checkout. There’s no subscription.

5. Your licence

6. Refunds

If PrintBus isn’t right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying, from the address you bought with or with your receipt, and we’ll refund you in full. No questions asked. After a refund, the licence stops working when your Macs next check in. Your recordings stay yours.

Separately, the Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that can’t be excluded. If PrintBus has a major failure, you’re entitled to a refund whenever it happens, and to have other problems fixed within a reasonable time.

7. Using PrintBus responsibly

You’re responsible for what you record and what you do with it. Record only what you have the right to keep or use, follow the terms of the services you record from, and never record people without the consent the law requires.

8. Your recordings

Your recordings are saved only on your Mac, and we never see them. Keep backups of the ones that matter. As far as the law allows, and without limiting your consumer-law rights, we aren’t responsible for recordings that are lost, or for indirect losses.

9. Changes

If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top. A change won’t take away anything you’ve already paid for.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. Our privacy policy explains what information we handle and why.
